Services & Support

Pricing & Billing

  • How is managed IT support priced?

A flat monthly fee per user — $125 to $195 depending on plan — with every rate published on our pricing page. The fee covers each person, their primary computer, and their mobile phone.

  • What does the per-user fee cover?

The person plus their primary computer and mobile phone — support, monitoring, security, and tested backups included. Additional computers are $35/month, managed servers $95, managed network devices $25 each — all management-only rates.

  • Are cybersecurity and backups extra?

No. Endpoint security (including Bitdefender licensing) and tested backups are part of every plan's base price — we don't sell security as an add-on. The backup and continuity work is included; the systems it runs on — extra backup storage, a second site, standby cloud capacity — are quoted separately, the same way hardware is.

  • Is hardware or software licensing included?

No. Device rates cover management only — hardware, third-party licenses such as Microsoft 365, and vendor subscriptions on network gear are quoted separately, and you approve every quote before anything is billed.

Getting Started

Security & Compliance

  • What security is included in every plan?

Every plan includes Bitdefender endpoint security, 24/7 monitoring and patching, and tested backups in the base price. The Compliance plan adds written security policies, risk assessments, staff security-awareness training, and audit support for regulated businesses.

  • How do you handle data backups?

Backups run automatically and are tested — we verify data actually restores rather than assuming a green checkmark means you're safe. Backup coverage is included in every plan.

  • Can you help with HIPAA, SOC 2, or PCI compliance?

Yes. We support HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, and HITRUST programs, and our Compliance plan is built for regulated businesses. Learn more on our compliance services page.

  • What happens if we're hit by ransomware?

Prevention comes first — endpoint protection, patching, and monitoring — but no provider can honestly promise zero risk. That's why every plan includes tested backups: if ransomware gets through, we restore your data rather than negotiate for it.

About QOS MSP

  • How is QOS MSP different from other IT providers?

We're founder-led — the company Aaron Mason started in 2007 still answers to him. We publish our pricing, include security and tested backups in every base price, and we'll tell you honestly when something isn't worth buying.

  • What areas do you serve?

The Indianapolis metro and businesses across Indiana from our Sheridan corporate office, and Chicagoland and Illinois from our Fox River Grove branch. Remote support extends across both states.

  • What size businesses do you work with?

Plans start at a five-user minimum; our largest single environment is 1,500 users, and we support more than 75,000 users across all customers. Most clients are small and mid-sized businesses.

  • What industries do you support?

Small and mid-sized businesses across industries, with particular depth in regulated sectors — healthcare practices (HIPAA), companies handling card payments (PCI DSS), and service firms pursuing SOC 2.
